Physician evaluations coordinated through MMJ Card Cincinnati are conducted by independent, licensed Ohio physicians who hold an active Certificate to Recommend (CTR) from the State Medical Board of Ohio. Recommending physicians practice independently and exercise their own professional clinical judgment in every patient interaction.

Scheduling an appointment or submitting initial intake information facilitates an evaluation appointment with an independent physician. Scheduling an appointment does not constitute medical diagnosis, clinical clearance, or ongoing patient management. A medical cannabis consultation is specialized and does not replace primary healthcare, routine preventative screenings, or consultations with treating medical specialists.

No Guarantee of a Recommendation or Registration

Payment of an evaluation fee, appointment scheduling, or preliminary symptom review does not guarantee that a physician will issue a medical cannabis recommendation, nor does it guarantee patient registration or digital card activation in the Ohio Patient & Caregiver Registry.

The examining physician independently determines whether a patient meets the statutory criteria for an approved qualifying medical condition under Ohio law and whether cannabis therapy is clinically safe and appropriate for that individual. Furthermore, final patient registration, caregiver registration, and digital card issuance are administered exclusively by the Ohio Division of Cannabis Control.
